The young man was unharmed, but appeared to have been driving under the influence of alcohol. He had to immediately surrender his driver’s license for 15 days. The car was towed and the police, fire brigade and city services temporarily closed the Schaapsbrug and the Graankaai to make the situation safe and to repair the guardrail.
