Sébastien Loeb closes the first part of the Dakar 2026 at sixth place in the general classification 17 minutes behind leader and Dacia Sandriders teammate Nasser Al-Attiyah. “We had difficult moments especially with the punctures but we are fighting, I’m happy with the situation.” The delay from the leader means that on the sand “we will go full throttle but we will have to be more careful on the rocks”. Finally “compared to last year we are at the rest day with four cars, which is why I am confident”.
