Sean Steur has been repeatedly linked to Eintracht Frankfurt by “Sky” in recent weeks, and most recently he was even named the top candidate for the eight in the summer. But the midfield talent from Ajax Amsterdam is not even thinking about a change.

“I’m just very happy at Ajax at the moment and I’m not dealing with this topic at all at the moment. I’m just concentrating on Ajax and I’m very happy here. I don’t think I’ll go anywhere else,” said Steur in an interview with “ESPN”. “As a fan, I wouldn’t worry. I just feel comfortable here and have fun.”
According to “Sky”, there are said to have been discussions between Eintracht and the players. The 17-year-old’s contract was extended until 2028 last summer – and is due to be extended again shortly. According to the “Algemeen Dagblad”, Ajax would like to tie him until 2030 and negotiations are ongoing.

Steur was initially dissatisfied with his situation at Ajax. For a long time he didn’t get the playing time in the Eredivisie that was supposedly promised to him. Before the winter break, he was in the starting line-up three times for interim coach Fred Grim, who sees him as a promising candidate to succeed Kenneth Taylor (23), who moved to Lazio.
