The judges’ council of the competition announced on Friday that they are postponing Saturday’s competitions for both men and women.
The men’s 10 km freestyle intermediate start race starts at 10:45 a.m. and the women’s at 1:15 p.m. According to the original schedule, the men’s competition had to start already at 9:10.
The schedule change aims to ensure that the frost does not prevent the organization of competitions also on Saturday. Friday’s races had to be canceled when it was 24 degrees below zero at half past nine. The frost limit is 20 degrees below zero.
The frost is predicted to be mild for Saturday.
