Another two of the five Super Prizes ended up in the province of Rome. Let’s find out the winning tickets
Also this year the day of the Epiphany coincided with that ofextraction of the Italian Lottery prizes. The serial numbers of the winning tickets were revealed, as usual, during the special episode of Your business on Rai 1, hosted by Stefano De Martino.
There online ticket sales closed at 8am on January 5th, that of paper tickets of the 2025 Italian Lottery in authorized lottery offices and points of sale continued until 8.30pm on January 6th. The complete list of winning tickets for first category and other categories will be available on the official website www.lotteria-italia.it starting today, Wednesday 7 January 2026, when you will also be able to check your ticket with the tool Check winnings on the Italian Lottery site or the MyLotteries app, available for Android and iOS devices.
Italy Lottery 2025: how the extraction takes place

The Italian Lottery draw took place according to an official and strictly regulated procedure, designed to guarantee randomness, transparency and control at every stage. It took place as always in Rome, at the headquarters of the Customs and Monopolies Agency. The extraction mechanism uses electronic ballot boxes: one dedicated to the letters that identify the series of tickets and another six reserved for the numbers. There random combination of letter and numbers generates the complete code of the winning ticket. Each extraction is verified in real time and, in the event that the ticket drawn is not sold, the operation is repeated until a ticket actually in circulation is identified. The order in which the prizes were awarded was established during Affari Tuoi, but the extraction of the codes remains a separate, technical and certified operation.
Starting with a bang: the 300,000 euro Special Prize

The Special Prize of 300,000 euros is a great innovation introduced in the 2025 edition of the Italian Lottery: for the first time, in addition to the classic daily prizes and the final draw of the main winners, a substantial sum drawn before the other super prizes has been up for grabs. This early draw took place live on television on Rai 1, shortly before the start of the final evening connected to the lottery: through a random draw of series and number, a single prize of 300,000 euros was awarded. Winning this prize went to the owner of the ticket M291089 sold in Auronzo di Cadore, in the province of Belluno.

Italian Lottery Prizes 2026: how to collect them

The prizes of the Italian Lottery they can only be claimed if the winning ticket is presented within the established deadline for the payment request. To obtain the amount won, the holder must deliver the original ticket intact together with the required documentation (such as identity document and tax code). Those who collect can do so directly at the National Lotteries Prizes Office or by presenting the ticket at a branch of the participating credit institution, which will then formally forward the request to the Rewards Office. The regulation provides that, once the correct collection request has been submitted, the payment is made within the deadline established by the rules, which for large prizes is maximum 45 days from the date of submission of the request. Validity checks of the coupon and payment requirements take place at the time of delivery at the competent counters.
As for the digital ticketscollection is even simpler. In the event of a win, it is not necessary to present any paper ticket: the winner is identified via the account used for the purchase. Lower prize amounts are automatically credited to your gaming account or associated payment method, while for higher winnings confirmation of personal and banking details is required. Also in this case, once the required checks have been completed, accreditation takes place within the deadlines established by the regulation, without the need to physically go to counters or offices.

The deadline for requesting the collection of the prize it is established 180 days from the date of official publication of the results of the winning tickets in the Official Bulletin of the Customs and Monopolies Agency. If the request is not submitted within this period, the right to collect the winnings automatically lapses. After the request, the regulation provides a maximum period of 45 days for accreditation of the prize amount, which can be done by bank draft or by credit to a bank or postal account, according to the choice indicated by the winner. It is necessary to credit the account provide an IBAN registered in the name of the ticket or gaming account holder, together with the other required identification documents.
Taxation of Italian Lottery winnings

Winnings from the Italian Lottery are subject to taxation in accordance with current legislation on public games. In particular, on prizes exceeding 500 euros a withholding tax of 20% is applied, calculated only on the part exceeding this threshold. The withholding occurs automatically at the time of payment, therefore the winner receives the net amount directlywithout having to declare the winnings in the tax return or carry out further tax obligations.
