In Bischofshofen the Germans wanted to make it big again, but they couldn’t make it to the top. Domen Prevc celebrated the overall victory.

The DSV Eagles missed out on a podium place at the end of the Four Hills Tournament in Bischofshofen. Felix Hoffmann only ended up in tenth place as the best German, while Philipp Raimund came in twelfth. The German duo also missed out on a top three place in the overall ranking. The last German overall winner remains Sven Hannawald, who achieved the historic first quadruple victory in January 2002.

The Austrian Daniel Tschofenig secured the day’s victory in Bischofshofen ahead of the Slovenian Domen Prevc and the Japanese Ryoyu Kobayashi. Prevc secured overall victory with a clear lead. He won the competitions in Oberstdorf and Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The triumph was historic: After Peter Prevc’s overall victory at the Four Hills Tournament in 2016, Domen made the duo the only pair of brothers in history to win the tournament.
