Things got seriously out of hand in our country again on New Year’s Eve: it is now clear to most people that fireworks do not belong in the free market at all. Johan Derksen is annoyed that the fireworks ban is still not in force and that the media keeps using all kinds of soothing words.
Criticism of Rob
Johan gets tired of it. “It’s a repetition of things. Then they appear on the talk shows again: the police union, mayors who say that this can no longer be the case, the doctor from the eye hospital… It’s always the same stories and what happens? The intended prime minister Rob Jetten also disappoints him. “What bothers me is that our future Prime Minister Jetten… I have seen him cuddling with his friend in all kinds of broadcasts, but he should now have come out and said: we are going to tackle this tough when I become Prime Minister and we will put an end to this.”
Cuddling
For unclear reasons, Rob demands a lot of media attention for his love affair with Nicolás Keenan. For example, he chose Shownieuws as one of only three media outlets to whom he gave an end-of-year interview. “I think that cuddling is fine and I wish him that very much, but there are other priorities in this country.”
