It was very busy, especially on weekends and shopping Sundays. The peak fell on December 13, with more than 37,000 visitors. The renovated Christmas market and events such as Vlaanderen Zingt and the Winter Corrida also attracted extra people.
“The success is due to the wide range and the cozy winter atmosphere,” says Alderman of Evenementen Wouter Allijns. “That gives confidence for the future.”
