The film includes three sold-out gigs in Mexico City in front of a total of almost 200,000 spectators.

Depeche Mode’s concert film “M” will soon be available to binge on Netflix. The film will be available on the streaming platform from Friday, January 9th. “M” is available to subscribers in the US, UK and Europe.

The “Memento Mori” tour

The work is based on recordings from the “Memento Mori” tour, during which Dave Gahan & Co. performed in the Mexican capital as part of their world tour. The live documentation combines the shows with a thematic discussion of the meaning of death and transience in Mexican culture – central motifs of the album, which is titled like the concert series.

“Memento Mori” was finally released as the band’s 15th studio album and was the first production after the death of keyboardist and founding member Andy Fletcher in May 2022. The subsequent tour extended over 2023 and 2024 with a total of 112 concerts in front of more than three million visitors worldwide.
