The Peter R. de Vries Foundation, the foundation of the murdered crime journalist, wants to breathe new life into stalled murder and missing persons cases. It is estimated that at least 1,300 cold cases are at a standstill in the Netherlands. The foundation will now also conduct its own investigation, reports the Dutch current affairs program ‘Nieuwsuur’.
