Arrest warrant teases new single “Syndrom Stockholm” with Oddworld. The German rapper will soon release new music – vinyl information and first lyrics here.
Arrest Warrant is in the mood for new music: The German rapper has been teasing a previously unreleased song called “Syndrome Stockholm” on social media for a good two weeks.
In his Instagram story, the artist also shared a link to pre-order the single as a “Collector’s 12 Vinyl” for just under 30.00 euros with either a transparent or red cover. An X-ray image of a head in profile is printed on the plate itself – whose skull it is remains unclear. Maybe it’s his own or he’s part of the German producer duo Oddworld – consisting of Alexis Troy and Minhtendo – who worked on the track.
This is what is known so far about “Syndrome Stockholm”.
The previously known lyrics of the track are: “Too much rock & roll, Syndrome Stockholm / Bitch, where to? / Have you been out to get some fabric? / Yes, that’s how we live on the block between high-rise buildings / The coke epidemic is breaking out, what’s going on people?”.
In the accompanying video clips, the rapper appeared alternately with the producer duo in the elevator or alone in front of what looks like a garage door. The release date for the track has not yet been announced.

What does the title allude to?
The spelling “Stockholm syndrome” seems unusual at first glance – if you can do anything with the psychological phenomenon “Stockholm syndrome”. The term describes a process in which victims of hostage-taking or abuse often develop positive feelings such as sympathy, understanding or even affection for their captors or tormentors out of a survival instinct. This cooperative behavior can have a de-escalating effect when dealing with perpetrators. However, the phenomenon is now considered controversial in science.
The artist also seems to have no connection to the place – from the information that is publicly available: The rapper has not yet had an appearance in the capital of Sweden and there is no evidence of this in terms of vacation either. However, the 40-year-old mentioned the big city in one of his older tracks. In “IHNAMG – You didn’t believe in me” from the 2012 album KANACKIES, the Offenbach native rapped: “The world trip can begin from Frankfurt Airport / Istanbul, Barcelona, London and New York / Ibiza, Miami / Paris and Hong Kong / Amsterdam, Tokyo, after Rome comes Stockholm / Washington, Chicago Cho / City Mexico / Berlin, Milano / Rio de Janeiro”.

Not the first collaboration with Oddworld
Arrest Warrant had recently released a new song with the producer duo. “Dünya garip” was released on November 20th at 11:59 p.m. and is sung in Turkish.
Translated, the title means “The world is strange” – a leitmotif for the piece, which tells of homelessness, strangers and uprooting.
