TSN’s Bar Down presented Canadian players with iconic moments from previous U20 World Cups on their YouTube channel.

The compilation of five moments included the 2022 final, where Canada and Finland fought for the world championship at Rogers Place, the home cave of the Edmonton Oilers.

Canada led 2–0 after two sets, but Finland rallied and rose Aleksi Heimosalmen mixed Joakim Kemellin by hitting levels.

In overtime Eetu Liukas and Topi Niemelä ran past the puck by Dylan Garandbut a Canadian skipper Mason McTavish rushed and ruined the Finns’ celebrations.

– I was actually there watching the match, Cole Beaudoin lingered For Bar Down.

– It was iconic, really. I’ll never forget it.

McTavish cut off the path of the puck heading towards the goal – out of the air and practically from the goal line.

– The puck was literally going into the goal.

Moments later, Canada scored the golden goal. Logan Stankoven tip mined the bottoms, and Kent Johnson forced the puck Juha Jatkolan behind.
