Riots, fireworks bombs and attacks on emergency services: New Year’s Eve in Antwerp once again turned into a battlefield. 101 people were arrested, more than half of them were minors. Mayor Els van Doesburg said this in an interview with HLN. “You see this phenomenon today in every major European city.”
