Monique Hansler is incredibly bothered by the way Jordi Versteegden speaks about her on television. She has now taken matters into her own hands. “I’m blocked.”
Telegraaf reporter Jordi Versteegden has repeatedly spoken very negatively about the TV soap of the infamous mother-in-law Monique Hansler at the Shownieuws desk. She is not yet as hated as Rachel Hazes, but it doesn’t make much difference. According to Jordi, it is disgusting that SBS 6 gives that woman such a big stage.
‘Be nice!’
Jordi also catches up Show news from last night, on New Year’s Eve, to Monique. He finds her calculating. “She also said: ‘Yes, it all came to us, it all just happened’, but later it turned out that mother Monique, Terror Monique, I dare to call her calm…
Colleague Bart Ettekoven is shocked by that language. “Be nice! I also think it’s sad that everyone is falling all over her.”
‘Not pathetic?’
Jordi does not understand Bart’s comment. “Well, because we are here on SBS 6? Then we can just be critical about it, right?”
Bart: “Of course you can be critical of it, but I do think: you never know to what extent they will pick out the parts that characterize her.”
Colleague Eline de Ruig: “Don’t you feel sorry for Denise and all the others?”
Bart: “Very sad.”
Monotonous
Jordi simply thinks the Hanslers soap is very bad. “I also find it incredibly monotonous, don’t you? They have of course replaced the Meilandjes and I have also been critical of that, but I now know what I am missing by looking at the Hanslers.”
There will probably be a sequel to the soap opera. “There is already talk of a second season, but that is purely based on the viewing figures. Yes, they are good, because we are talking about it here and people want to see it, but I don’t really see a deeper layer in this program.”
Unless you count Monique’s double chin.
Deeper layer
It now seems that Monique is really fed up with all of Jordi’s criticism, because she has broken off all contact with the Telegraaf reporter.
“Sorry Monique, because she blocked me on Instagram. These oliebollen are coming your way!”
