Richard Groenendijk shat on the park of a gas station in the summer of 2018. He had just come from Eva Jinek. “I hung there naked from a tree.”
When Dutch TV viewers watch Eva Jinek’s talk show on June 12, 2018, they do not yet know that one of the table guests would start to misbehave considerably an hour later. Richard Groenendijk then sits at the table to, together with André van Duin, very solemnly talk about Corrie van Gorp. They paid tribute to her.
Pooping in Brielle
According to Richard, it was a great broadcast, but shortly afterwards things went wrong. The comedian felt the urge and his sphincter could no longer hold. “I will tell you that sometimes you have to do so much and that you clap. I was at Brielle at the time, I went to Goedereede and I came from Eva Jinek,” he explains in his podcast.
He continues: “I was sitting there at the table, such a nice chic contrast. And then I really thought: that car is going to die now, it’s really terrible, I can’t do it anymore, I can’t do it anymore, I can’t do it anymore. Then there was a gas station and then I hung from a tree there in the pouring rain.”
Bangladesh
According to Richard it was really absurd. “You sometimes have rain showers that make you think: this is just Bangladesh being flooded. So I was hanging out completely soaked with that television make-up dripping everywhere.”
Completely rained out or not: the comedian could at least get rid of his diarrhea somewhere. “I thought: that was an ode to Corrie van Gorp live on television an hour and a half ago. Very neat, and now I’m hanging from a tree here in Brielle with the thin one in my pants. It’s really terrible…”
