You mainly hear doom stories about the aging population. But are they correct? Maarten and Marike focus on the figures and are positively surprised.
Compared to other European countries, the Netherlands is remarkably well prepared for the aging wave. Today’s seventy-year-old is cognitively comparable to a 53-year-old from a quarter of a century ago. And if more people work longer, the future will look a lot better very quickly.
