Karlsruher SC has given young player Eymen Laghrissi a professional contract. The 17-year-old has been trained at KSC since the U9s and celebrated his debut in the first team this season. In the club’s history, only two players were younger than Laghrissi when they made their debut.
“Eymen sees the greatest development opportunity for himself at KSC, despite national and international offers, and we are happy to continue on the path together. His commitment to the professional team shows that we are on a successful path to offering our own players real prospects. Even as a 17-year-old, he is able to positively influence a game through his dynamism and offensive dribbling strength,” managing director Mario Eggimann is quoted as saying. Laghrissi has now made seven appearances, and he was allowed to play from the start in the 2-3 win against SV Elversberg on matchday 13.
“I’m proud to be continuing on the path at KSC. After my debut with the professionals, I hope that my role in the team will continue to grow. I will work hard, I want to develop further here and help the club with my performances,” said the youngster. The contract is valid from summer 2026; the KSC did not provide any information about the term. In the last market value update of the 2nd Bundesliga, Laghrissi was upgraded to one million euros.
