For a family, the evening of lights on Tuesday evening at the cemetery in the center of Oss turned out differently than they expected.
The man, woman and two children were left in the pitch dark for an unknown reason after the evening of lights, which lasted until eight o’clock. When they finally reached the exit in the dark, it turned out to be locked.
The police were called, but they were unable to free the family. The fire brigade therefore came to the rescue. A ladder was placed on both sides of the meter-high fence at the Oak Orchard. This allowed the family to safely climb over the fence.
The evening ended on a nice note for the children. They were allowed to sit in a police car with flashing lights and have their picture taken with the fire brigade.
