The former coach, originally from Friuli, passed away in Lignano Sabbiadoro. He drove – among others – Piacenza, Andria, Pisa, Ravenna, Monza, Pescara, Foggia and Palermo

Giorgio Rumignani passed away in his home in Lignano Sabbiadoro, in the province of Udine, at the age of 86. As a footballer, in the role of midfielder, he stood out for his tactical intelligence, reliability and positional sense, qualities which also characterized his subsequent career as a coach. As a coach he led numerous historic cities, including Piacenza, Andria, Pisa, Ravenna, Monza and Palermo, leaving an imprint made of work, rigor and attention to the growth of the group everywhere, especially in Pescara. The last experience in Treviso in 2009-10.
