A car left the A28 just before the exit to Fluitenberg this afternoon. The car came to a stop against the guardrails.
The driver had to be cut from the car by the fire brigade. He was taken to hospital with unknown injuries.
The accident happened in the direction of Hoogeveen. Because a lane was closed for the recovery of the car, traffic experienced some disruption.
