Information had repeatedly leaked out from the FC Barcelona dressing room. Now coach Hansi Flick is said to have used a trick to expose the culprit.

Barça coach Hansi Flick has apparently discovered an information leak at FC Barcelona. Over the course of several weeks, internal information from the club was repeatedly made public. Now Flick is said to have exposed the mole, reported the Spanish journalist Rafael Hernandez on the X platform. The Spanish journalist Victor Navarro also reported on it.

Accordingly, Flick had deliberately given false information to a player he suspected of being a mole before the game against Guadalajara. This meant that goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny should be in the starting line-up. Apparently this information came out, Spanish media reported on it and Flick had a suspect, according to the journalist. The name of the suspect was not revealed, only that it was said to be a player.

As Hernandez writes, goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen was initially suspected. “It would make sense if he revealed that Szczesny is playing because he has to sit out,” Hernandez said. In fact, ter Stegen was first choice in the game. “Like a detective story,” commented a fan on X. So far there is no confirmation from Flick or FC Barcelona about the incident.
