Waiting list for social housing peaks to almost 210,000, Depraetere comes up with an emergency plan

While the waiting list for social housing in Flanders rises to a record high of 209,843 families, Flemish Minister of Housing Melissa Depraetere comes up with an emergency plan to turn the tide and build more and faster social housing. The plan includes favorable loans for housing companies, a mandatory share of social housing for each municipality and also faster permits.
