Bologna advanced to the final by defeating Inter 3-2 in the series penalty shoot-out in the Italian Super Cup semi-final match, which ended in a 1-1 draw in normal time and extra time.
Bologna’s goal was scored by Ricardo Orsolini (P) in the 35th minute, while Inter’s goal came from Marcus Thuram in the 2nd minute.
Our national football player, Hakan Çalhanoğlu, was among the reserves in Inter and could not find time in the match.

Ciro Immobile, who played for Beşiktaş last season, converted Bologna’s last penalty into a goal in the penalty shoot-out and took his team to the final.
