Astrid Joosten doesn’t like watching Today Inside. It may be the most successful talk show in the country, but the presenter has no interest in that. “I don’t like it.”
Johan Derksen, René van der Gijp and Wilfred Genee have been achieving great success with Today Inside for years and years, but they cannot please everyone. This is what presenter Astrid Joosten said this week in the VARA guide it is very clear that she is not charmed by the talk show on SBS 6. She never watches it, the BnnVara star emphasizes.
Hate the mustache
The reason Astrid is in the guide is her participation in the Tube & Fireplace section. In it, celebrities talk about their TV preferences. Out of nowhere the presenter says: “I don’t like Today Inside.”
And her husband Rob Peters completely agrees with this: “I am an admirer of Wilfred Genee. He is so quick-witted, also in The Friday Move on BNR, but I hate that mustache. No, then Matthijs continues: the combination of that nice music, Matthijs’s pace, the ‘Forever young’ conversations. I miss that.”
World class
The men of VI can take an example from Matthijs van Nieuwkerk, Astrid thinks. She adds: “Matthijs is and remains of unparalleled world class.”
In the absence of Matthijs, the two now enjoy watching Eva Jinek’s talk show. “After that Nieuwsuur and Pauw & De Wit,” says Astrid. “During the day I mainly follow the news online.”
The Perfect Picture
And in terms of entertainment? In that area, Astrid really likes the RTL 4 program Het Perfecte Plaatje. “I have been asked to participate and I am considering it. We never skip this point. And I am a fan of Lubach.”
But, Rob notes: “Since he has been on RTL 4, we often miss it in one way or another.”
B&B Full of Love
They also don’t watch the RTL 4 hit B&B Vol Liefde, says Astrid. “We skip many programs that are viewed en masse, such as B&B Vol Liefde.”
And of course the two don’t want to belong to the crowd. They live comfortably. Astrid: “We tried an episode but dropped out. De Meilandjes, Heel Holland Bakt, Wie is de Mol?, We’re almost there! — not for us either.”
We know that again. And on.
