Last Wednesday, in the heart of Palermo, thousands of supporters of La Libertad Avanza responded to a call from the group Las Fuerzas del Cielo, led by libertarian influencer Daniel “Gordo Dan” Parisini, to accompany President Javier Milei at the close of his political year.

The meeting was at the door of the studio of the streaming channel Carajo, where the interview that Milei offered on the program La Misa was projected on a giant screen. Starting in the afternoon, militants and followers gathered in the area, many hours before, forming lines that extended along the sidewalks of the Buenos Aires neighborhood.

What began as an act of support quickly transformed into a scene of organized youth mobilization: the organizers distributed T-shirts with libertarian and Forces of Heaven symbols among those who attended. The distribution especially targeted the youngest, who received the t-shirts as a sign of belonging to the political space.

The free distribution of merchandising worked as a concrete incentive to add presence and visibility. Many attendees acknowledged having also arrived attracted by the possibility of obtaining a t-shirt, in a dynamic that combined militancy, identity aesthetics and a classic mechanism of political adhesion.

During the event, usual slogans from the libertarian universe were repeated, with expressions of unconditional support for the president and messages of optimism about the country’s economic direction. From the symbolic scenario of streaming, the idea was reinforced that the Government will have better political conditions after the new formation of Congress.

Among those present were militants who traveled from different provinces, such as Mendoza, to participate in the closing of the year. For them, the day was also an instance of reaffirmation of political loyalty, framed in a festive, youthful and carefully organized staging.

In this context, the distributed t-shirt stopped being a simple souvenir and became a symbol of belonging and a tool of mobilization. The episode reopened the debate on the ways of building political support in the libertarian ruling party, where anti-caste discourse coexists with traditional practices of recruitment and militant loyalty.
