The textile group Bültel Worldwide Fashion GmbH & Co. KG is reorganizing the management of the women’s fashion division of its Camel Active brand. On Thursday, the company announced the appointment of Susanne Völkel as Division Head Camel Active Womenswear.
She succeeds Ágnes Bella-Herzig, who will leave the company “at her own request” on December 31 after 13 years, according to a statement. Völkel was previously responsible for the Fynch-Hatton brand’s women’s fashion range at Fynch-Hatton Textil-Handelsgesellschaft mbH. She has also held various management positions for the labels New in Town and Better Rich.
At the same time, the Bültel Group announced that the “proven sales expert” Yannick Bache is taking over the newly created position of Head of Sales DACH at Camel Active Womenswear. Like Völkel, he will report directly to Frank Brüggemann, who is managing director at Bültel Worldwide Fashion GmbH & Co. KG. is responsible for Camel Active.
Brüggemann explained the strategic background of the personnel decisions: “Thanks to Ágnes, we have built a strong foundation over the last 13 years – we are very grateful to her for that. With the new personnel structure, we are now sending a clear signal for the future of Camel Active Womenswear,” he explained in a statement.
“The past few years have impressively shown the potential our brand has. We are convinced that with a strong team, great passion for the product and a separation of the sales structure between menswear and womenswear, we will continue the success story of Camel Active Womenswear and further establish it as a strong player in the market,” says Brüggemann. “With Susanne Völkel and Yannick Bache, we are gaining two experienced managers who will significantly advance our vision.”
