In 1994, the UZ Brussels made a serious mistake during IVF treatment and mixed up a sperm sample. This created twins who were unaware for years that their father was not their biological father. The family from Mortsel is now taking legal action against the hospital, VRT NWS reports. Joris Beernaert, the family’s lawyer, confirms the news to Belga.
