A car fell into the water on the Oosterdiep East side in Emmer-Compascuum this afternoon. The car almost completely disappeared under water.
The occupants were able to get to the side independently. The driver of the car was taken to hospital with unknown injuries.
The road is temporarily partially closed for emergency services.
