Jamal Musiala has been missing since the Club World Cup with a serious injury. Now the national player has reached a milestone on his way back.

Jamal Musiala took part in FC Bayern team training for the first time after his serious injury in July. The 22-year-old international completed warm-up and passing exercises before continuing his individual training.

Musiala suffered a dislocated ankle and fractured his fibula in the quarter-finals against Paris Saint-Germain at the Club World Cup on July 5th. These injuries kept him off the field for months. According to FC Bayern’s announcement on Tuesday, his comeback is now getting closer.

Bayern coach Vincent Kompany explained that Musiala could “probably play his first minutes again” in January. This is the “ideal plan” for the club.

In addition to Musiala, Alphonso Davies, another long-term injured player, also recently made his comeback in a competitive game. In the last game of the year, FC Bayern will play against 1. FC Heidenheim on Sunday before the first competitive game of the new year against VfL Wolfsburg on January 11th.
