The Berlin online fashion retailer Zalando SE has filled a management position. On Monday, the company announced the appointment of Joanna Rogers as senior vice president for propositions. She takes over this role from Martin Rost, who, according to a statement, is “leaving the company at his own request to pursue a new professional challenge.”

In her new role, Rogers will now be responsible for “the entire range of our fashion and lifestyle offerings, including Fashion, Sports, Beauty, Kids & Family, Designer, Pre-Owned and Lounge by Zalando,” explained the e-commerce specialist. She will continue to report directly to Co-CEO Robert Gentz.

“Their strategic focus is on further developing these categories into independent worlds of experience that combine curated assortments with personalized inspiration and data-driven advice,” explained the company. In addition, it should “drive forward the expansion of the platform business”.

Rogers has been part of Zalando’s management team since 2021

Rogers joined Zalando in 2021 as head of the cosmetics division and has since been “a driving force in the leadership team,” according to the company. She “made a significant contribution to developing the beauty, designer and pre-owned areas into dynamic, independent offers for customers and partners”.

In January of this year, she also took on the role of Managing Director of Zalando Partner Marketing Services (ZMS). “She will continue to perform this role to expand ZMS as a key growth engine for the B2C business and support partners with innovative, data-driven marketing solutions,” the company said.
