Bondi Beach (Australia), 15 December. (askanews) – Mourning and pain in Australia after gunmen opened fire during the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah on Bondi Beach, killing 15 people. Flags across the country are at half-mast and tributes have been left at a memorial near the site of the shooting. “I keep thinking it’s a bad dream and I’m going to wake up,” says 76-year-old retiree Bev Erley. “I’m heartbroken,” adds Laura Walkerden, describing it as “an attack on humanity.”
