“The statement I made to members of the press after our team’s match against Trabzonspor is known to the public.
While Trabzonspor’s “T” was not even mentioned in my statement, the statement of Trabzonspor President Ertuğrul Doğan in an interview he gave to a television channel on December 6, 2025, “Trabzonspor Club is the club that has suffered this pain the most on the way to championships since its history. I am speaking very clearly. After us, Beşiktaş will come” is still fresh in the memories, while a person who occupies the vice president position in Trabzonspor is between the two clubs. I followed his statement, which was baseless and pushed the limits of decency, which would serve no purpose other than sowing the seeds of grudge and hatred, with sadness for the future of Turkish football.
Why were you disturbed by my statement targeting the Turkish Football Federation and the referees, and why did you feel the need to make a hasty statement in a way that brings to mind the saying that the criminal always comes to the scene first?
