Radical right-wing lawyer José Antonio Kast won the presidential elections in Chile on Sunday. He provisionally won 59.8 percent of the votes in the second round, compared to 40.2 percent for left-wing candidate Jeannette Jara, who has acknowledged her defeat. About twenty percent of the votes have been counted.
