Tottenham Hotspur made Brennan Johnson (24) one of the most expensive transfers in the club’s history in the summer of 2023. The 55 million purchase was a regular player for two years, but in his third year he alternates between the starting eleven and the bench. Now another London club could offer a way out.

According to Sky Sports in England, Crystal Palace are interested in the 42-time Wales international. Johnson is one of several candidates, it is said. Palace want to strengthen the squad in the winter to, among other things, compensate for the absence of Ismaïla Sarr. The 27-year-old is taking part in the Africa Cup of Nations with Senegal, which will be held in Morocco from December 21st to January 18th.
Johnson received his second devaluation in a row during the Premier League’s market value update last Tuesday: he went from 40 million to 35 million euros. In December 2024 he reached his personal high of 50 million euros. Johnson played in 19 of 24 possible games this season and started ten times. He contributed four goals in 865 minutes. His contract is dated until 2028.
