The streetwear brand Carhartt WIP has opened another store in Lausanne, Switzerland. It is the brand’s third location in Switzerland, where it also has its headquarters in Allschwill near Basel.

The store is located on Rue de Genève in the central district of Le Flon, an area known for its industrial heritage and architecture. The store design takes up the industrial roots of the area and combines them with the workwear heritage of Carharrt WIP (Work in Progress). The store was designed by Andrea Caputo and Salomée Faeh, who run the company with her husband and founder Edwin Faeh.

Design elements include concrete counters, steel columns and perforated metal panels, offset by glass elements and mirrors.

To celebrate the opening on December 4th, Carhartt WIP has created a limited selection of t-shirts and sweatshirts featuring illustrations by artist Hugo Baud inspired by local landmarks and locations.
