Van Peteghem will not become Eurogroup chairman: Greek minister receives the most votes

Budget Minister Vincent Van Peteghem (CD&V) will not become the new chairman of the Eurogroup after all. The Belgian candidate had to lose to the Greek Minister of Finance, Kyriakos Pierrakakis, in a vote of the 20 Eurozone ministers. This is reported by the Reuters news agency.
