Prime Minister Rutte will visit Chancellor Scholz in Berlin on Thursday 13 January. It is the Prime Minister’s first official visit to the Chancellor since the Scholz cabinet took office in December 2021.
The Netherlands and Germany work closely together as good neighbours. During the meeting, the government leaders will discuss further cooperation between the two countries, for example in the field of climate and the economy. In addition, the situation at the border of Ukraine, the rule of law in Europe, migration and economic recovery are also on the agenda.
