In Kortrijk, a pile-up occurred on Wednesday evening just before 6 p.m. on the E17 near Kortrijk-Oost, in the direction of Ghent. Six vehicles were involved. The left lane became blocked. All in all, the accident was handled smoothly, but barely a few minutes later there was a second accident at the tail end of the resulting traffic jam, involving two cars.
