The newspaper reported it today The Messengeraccording to which the 48-year-old appeared today before the judges of the fifth collegiate section of Piazzale Clodio.

The facts contested against Bonci, founder of the Bonci Bakery and of Pizzarium Boncielected by Gambero Rosso as the best sliced pizzeria in Italy in 2025, date back to the beginning of 2022 and would be continued for about a year and a half.
“Controlling behavior due to obsessive jealousy”, claims the accusation, which led the chef to threaten his partner “on several occasions” and to attack her “by grabbing her by the wrists, pulling her hair and causing bruises on her body”, writes the Roman newspaper. The charge of resisting a public officialhowever, it dates back to June 2023, after a heated confrontation in a bar with his ex-partner and the subsequent intervention of the police.
The 48-year-old, according to the investigators’ reconstruction provided by Messengerhe would have been joined by his partner in a bar, while he was engaged in drinking with friends. The woman needed the house keys and faced that requestBonci “began to insult her, telling her that she shouldn’t be allowed to disturb him”.
The situation would get worse once home. The man, again according to the accusation, “would have thrown a pot and a bottle of beer on the ground. The woman, frightened, would have fled, to return a few hours later, reassured by Bonci himself”. Upon the arrival of his partner, however, Bonci “began to smash the paintings on the ground together with every object that came into his hands”. At that point the police arrived, alerted by the neighbors, and the chef would have threatened and offended them too.
