The police arrested a 17-year-old boy on Monday afternoon for the stabbing at Willem I College in Oss. A boy was injured in the stabbing.

Argument over stolen coat
Student Lisa (16) told Omroep Brabant that she had seen the argument between the two boys. “They stood with their foreheads against each other. They had an argument and started fighting, then one ran after the other.”

According to Ibrahim Laboud (18), a friend of the victim, the cause of the incident was a stolen jacket. “Stab someone for a jacket? That’s not possible.”

After the stabbing, all students had to go outside. Some of the lessons were even stopped.

Peace returned again
Jos van Kessel, chairman of the King Willem I College, said against DTV News that peace had returned to school after the stabbing. According to him, education would also have continued as normal.
