Zity withdraws the cars from Milan while Enjoy says goodbye to free flow, amidst high costs and difficult management. What changes and which companies operate in the three Italian capitals
In recent days, Zity announced the withdrawal of its vehicle fleet from Milan starting from mid-December: the streets of the Lombardy capital will lack the 650 electric cars that the carrier offered in car sharing with the free flow formula (take it and leave it wherever you want). “Shared and electric mobility is the right path”, wrote the operator in the press release announcing the termination of the service, but it is clear that something is wrong: each of its shared electric cars, in fact, generates a loss that exceeds 400 euros per month. It’s news from the last few hours remodulation of the service by Eni: from January the iconic red Enjoy cars will no longer be free-flowing, they will have to be picked up and delivered to the Enjoy Points, the rental points located in Enilive petrol stations, as well as in stations and airports. In short, the car sharing sector in Italy is evidently facing a challenge phase of changeand an overview of the active services is useful Milan, Rome and Turin.

Eni explains that in this way it will be easier to “follow” the cars, between maintenance and refueling.
