The defense forces are being promoted today by a reporter-presenter Riku Rantalan51, as reserve major. It is the highest rank to which a reservist can be promoted in the army.

– In some extremely rare exceptional cases, a reservist can be promoted to lieutenant colonel, but as far as I understand, there are not many of these. So I think I’m at the peak of my military career now!
Riku Rantala, who has worked in the reserve for almost 30 years, says that he has worked in positions related to Information Defense and Information Impact Management.
– So I have been practicing information warfare since Russia illegally occupied the Crimean peninsula in 2014, he says.
