Tomorrow, Friday (December 5th, 2025), the time has come: “Depeche Mode: M”, the live album with songs from Mexico City and the accompanying film as a home release, will go on sale.

“Depeche Mode: M” is not only released in various configurations, as a CD/DVD and CD/Blu-Ray bundle with concert impressions from Mexico City and as a live album on CD, vinyl and cassette. But also with previously unreleased tracks from the album sessions for “Memento Mori”. “In The End” is already released. Now come:

• Survive
• Life 2.0
• Give Yourself To Me

“In The End” has so far received a friendly, if not enthusiastic, response from fans on social media. Tenor: We are happy that new material from Martin Gore and Dave Gahan exists at all, even if only from previous sessions. There were also six years between the albums “Spirit” and “Memento Mori” (2017-2023), Depeche Mode’s longest studio break to date; which is also due to Andy Fletcher’s death.

The concert film by director Fernando Frías shows images from the band’s three sold-out shows at the Foro Sol Stadium in Mexico City on their world tour in 2023. The parallels between the themes of the Depeche Mode album “Memento Mori” and the culturally rooted examination of death and mortality in Mexico are explored. Frías is also no stranger behind the camera; he had a surprise hit with “I’m No Longer Here” in 2019.
