International expansion from a stable market position

With a strong economic basis and robust sales structure, FLORIS VAN BOMMEL is off to a strong start into the fall/winter 2026/27 season. Since taking part in MICAM in Milan at the beginning of 2025, the Dutch shoe manufacturer has been operating specifically on international markets in addition to DACH and Benelux for more than 20 years. In addition to MICAM, the brand can now also be found at GOODIEZ Düsseldorf. As usual, this will also be at ESSENCE Munich.

Selective expansion: Premium retailers as strategic anchor points

Based on Germany’s blueprint for success, a selective approach is being focused on in four new European countries: Targeted partnerships with selected premium dealers, sales partners and distributors are the focus of the successful acquisition and development of trading partners. “We benefit from the fact that we are perceived even more strongly in new markets as an exclusive profiling label with charisma and were therefore able to use MICAM as a sales platform right from the start,” says Pepijn van Bommel, Commercial Director.

Collection Men & Women Fall/Winter 2026/27

FLORIS VAN BOMMEL Man & Women starts the new season with collections between luxurious coolness and modern winter essentials. Across all lines, the focus is on lightness, flexibility and soft materials. An unmistakable mix of elegance, function and a strong design signature combined with uncompromising craftsmanship shows what the Dutch shoe manufacturer has stood for for over 300 years, now in the ninth generation of the family.

The men’s collection presents its usual wide range across the three segments CASUAL, SPORT and DRESSED: rebellious premium sneakers, robust winter boots, functional everyday styles and winter-ready loafers. Formal silhouettes with precise lines from the dressed segment are becoming increasingly important again. At the forefront are technical innovations – from weatherproof materials to shock-absorbing premium soles – with a design language that moves between urban casualness, classic shoe tradition and deliberately idiosyncratic components. In terms of color, warm brown and natural tones dominate. The collection takes elements from the FvB archives, quotes iconic styles from the 80s and 00s and translates them into modern, strong-running silhouettes. Characteristic details such as oiling, hand-embossed lines, colored premium soles, newly interpreted hiking features or typical FLORIS graphic prints ensure recognition value. Everything remains the same: luxurious Italian leather qualities and the claim to deliver ‘subtle evolution’ instead of loud revolution every season. In short: authenticity meets contemporary performance – just as we know FLORIS VAN BOMMEL.

The women’s line focuses on fine materials, sophisticated comfort features and bold accents. The new season plays with warm-toned winter colors on the softest nappa leather, luxurious suedes in luminous shades and structured animal embossing, which give sneakers, boots and pumps a fashionably fresh tonality and excitingly reinterpret them. FLORIS-typical signatures in the form of individual metal details and seasonal customized labels make clear statements – always with the precision of a family business that has lived shoe craftsmanship for over 300 years. The women’s collection is in the premium segment – between urban elegance, sporty modernity and festive radiance. A range that accompanies style-conscious women throughout the entire season: business-ready, party-proof and suitable for winter.
