The discipline of the SM League investigates no less than three situations from Wednesday’s round.

The situation room of the Ice Hockey Championship League took three situations that happened in Wednesday’s round to disciplinary proceedings.
In each case, the player got 5+20 minutes in the match. JYP was ordered to take a shower on Wednesday Antti TyrväinenKooKoon Joona Riekkinen and Kiekko-Espoon Peter Quenneville.
Tyrväinen’s case made headlines in particular. The attacker, who only recently signed a contract with JYP, crushed Tappara Kristian Tanunsen and got sent off for a tackle on the head or neck area.
For Tyrräinen, the match was only the second of the season. Tanus did not continue the match after the tackle.

If the discipline deems Tyrväinen’s act worthy of punishment, there may be a harsher punishment than normal for the act. The attacker has a history of several tackles aimed at the head in the SM league, which is why his punishments have been toughened in the past.
In 2016, Tyrväinen received the longest suspension in the history of the SM league for tackling. He was suspended for 12 matches for the tackle Joonas Lehtvuori. Disciplinary considered the tackle itself worthy of a seven-game ban, but the punishment was made tougher by Tyrväinen’s past history.

Discipline has enough to investigate, as two other situations were brought to its table for consideration.
KooKoon Riekkinen was ordered to shower because of a high club. Riekkinen defended his team’s goal during the Pelicans attack and beat the Lahti players Good luck to Lindi with a cross stick to the face area.
Lind fell to the ice holding his face.
Kiekko-Espoon’s Quenneville, on the other hand, got sent off for a knee tackle, the target of which was TPS’s golden helmet Lukas Wernblom. The TPS star was able to continue the match.
