Avrupa Yatırım Holding A.Ş. in Borsa Istanbul (BIST). The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office launched a comprehensive investigation into the manipulative price movements detected in its shares.
In the investigation carried out by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, after the Capital Markets Board (CMB) reports determined that artificial price movements were created by speculating in some stocks, the 12 suspects who were detained were transferred to the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan after their health checks were completed.
Former football player Gökhan Gönül was among the names taken into custody.
