During his Cabinet meeting on Tuesday, the president brought up the prestigious peace prize, which this year went to Venezuela’s opposition leader. Trump said he hopes to end the war between Russia and Ukraine quickly, but that he deserves the prize for all eight conflicts he has already ended. “I should get the Nobel Prize for every war, but I don’t want to be greedy,” the American president said in front of the camera. It has been known for some time that Donald Trump wants to win a Nobel Prize. The 2025 Nobel Peace Prize has been awarded to Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado for her commitment to democracy.
