Russian President Vladimir Putin is insisting that “unfriendly countries” must pay in rubles from Friday for the gas they get from Russia. According to him, a recently signed decree states that all contracts with countries that do not do so will be terminated. If that happens, the gas emergency plan will be activated in our country, says a cabinet spokesman.
