According to Vermeersch, the city allows violations of the law and does not take action against illegal activities. “We will call the responsible politicians to order. They are not doing their job. They are closing their eyes to infringements and nuisance from all Kortrijk mosques,” said Vermeersch.
Vlaams Belang emphasizes that in their opinion Kortrijk does not need a third mosque.
