Team Blankenberge of mayor Björn Prasse and Vooruit were in favor of a reconstruction with possibly an underground parking lot, N-VA and CD&V Plus are against those plans. It now appears that no money has been provided in the multi-year plan.
Mayor Prasse says that the file will in any case be put on the table this year in order to reach an agreement. Afterwards, a budget can still be provided for possible reconstruction.
